2. Consultation Services

Our interior styling consultations are professional services that begin upon agreement and commencement of work. Consultation fees are determined on a project-by-project basis and will be outlined in individual service agreements.

3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms will be specified in individual service agreements. Generally, the following policies apply:

Consultation Cancellations

• More than 48 hours notice: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a scheduled consultation may be eligible for full refund or rescheduling without penalty, subject to the specific service agreement terms.
• 24-48 hours notice: Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before a scheduled consultation may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the consultation fee, or may be eligible for rescheduling with a rescheduling fee.
• Less than 24 hours notice: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled consultation may be subject to the full consultation fee, as we may not be able to fill the time slot.
• No-show: Failure to attend a scheduled consultation without prior notice will result in forfeiture of the consultation fee.

Project Cancellations

• Before work commences: If you cancel a project before any work has begun, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund depending on any costs already incurred (such as initial consultation fees, material sourcing, or planning work).
• After work commences: Project cancellations after work has commenced will be handled according to the specific service agreement. Generally, you will be responsible for:
• Payment for all work completed up to the cancellation date
• Any costs incurred for materials, services, or third-party providers that cannot be cancelled
• A cancellation fee as specified in the service agreement (typically 10-20% of remaining project value)
• Partial completion: If a project is partially completed, we will provide a detailed breakdown of work completed and costs incurred, and any remaining balance may be refunded or credited as specified in the service agreement.

All cancellation requests must be made in writing (email is acceptable) to ensure clarity and proper documentation.

4. Refund Policy

Refund eligibility depends on the specific service agreement and stage of work completion. The following general guidelines apply:

Consultation Fees

• Consultation fees may be refundable if cancellation occurs more than 48 hours before the scheduled consultation, subject to the terms of the service agreement.
• Consultation fees are generally non-refundable if cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before the scheduled consultation, unless exceptional circumstances apply.
• If a consultation is rescheduled rather than cancelled, fees may be applied to the rescheduled consultation.

Project Fees

• Before work commences: If you cancel a project before any work has begun, you may be eligible for a full refund minus any non-refundable deposits or costs already incurred (such as initial planning, material sourcing, or administrative fees).
• Completed work: Fees for completed work are generally non-refundable, as payment is for services rendered and expertise provided.
• Incomplete work: Partial refunds may be considered for incomplete work, subject to individual circumstances and service agreement terms. The refund amount will typically be calculated as: Total project fee minus (work completed + costs incurred + cancellation fee).
• Unsatisfactory service: If you are dissatisfied with our services, please contact us immediately to discuss your concerns. We are committed to resolving issues and may offer refunds, credits, or additional services on a case-by-case basis.

Refund Processing

• Refund requests must be made in writing (email is acceptable) and include details of the service, date, and reason for the refund request.
• We will review refund requests within 5-7 business days and respond with our decision.
• If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 14 business days using the original payment method, where possible.
• Refunds may take additional time to appear in your account depending on your financial institution.
• Any refunds are subject to deduction of any costs already incurred, non-refundable deposits, or cancellation fees as specified in the service agreement.

Consumer Rights: Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer. If you are a consumer under Australian Consumer Law, you may have additional rights regarding refunds for services that are not provided with due care and skill, are not fit for purpose, or do not match their description.

5. Service Modifications

Service modifications or changes to project scope should be discussed and agreed upon in writing. Additional fees may apply for scope changes.
